This is
the 84th engr quarry located at PHU-LOC. The quarry men where from
ALPHA co attached to Delta.The man you see is SFC ROY BUXTON he was
in charge of the quarry. The 105's are from the 101st. They were fireing
up the hill to keep the enemy from bothering operations. EM PLT
provided dozer support and haul road maint. from the pit to the crusher.

history of ... I CORPS I doubt that few got to see. At least
as I did. This is the citadel in HUE. There was heavy fighting
here during TET of 68 and who knows how many other wars. I was outside
taking these pictures when a Monk came and ask me if wanted to see
the inside. I went with him on a guided tour. A truly remarkable experience.
I hope to share these all members of the 84th.
